The primary goal of a home stager is to make the appearance of the property less focused on the previous or current owners and really more about the “feel” of the home itself. Since the home is really what the buyers want to see, it makes good common sense.
Within a few seconds buyers develop a feeling about your home that is then reinforced by everything else they encounter. In other words, they buy on emotion and justify with fact.
When a house feels as if it could be a home, a buyer will intuitively justify that feeling and reprioritize his/her wish list in favor of your home.
